Fifi Sijangga, ARAD,LRAD,AISTD
“I just grew up and dance”
Fifi Sijangga started her ballet studies when she was 4 years old in Marlupi Dance Academy and danced with the Singapore Dance Art in 1982. She then pursued her professional training in Royal Academy of Dance, London and graduated in 1986. During her study, in 1985 she received the “Interquest Price” Award from the RAD and in 1986 she had the honor demonstrate “Dance Education Syllabus” in London.

On her return to Indonesia, she taught at Marlupi Dance Academy and was the principle dancer of the Academy. She inspired many young talents to explore beyond boundaries, and now many of her students achieved a professional career in dance.
In 1993, she became the Artistic Director of Marlupi Dance Academy and has choreographed all of MDA’s theater performances such as “The Story of Clara”, “Gadis Korek Api”, “The Nutcracker”, “La Fille Mar Gardee”, “Sleeping Beauty” and “The Little Mermaid”.
Other remarkable awards she had achieved are : “Instructor Certificate Award” from AFFA (Aerobics and Fitness Assosiation), “International Brevet Judges” from the Federation Internasionale de Gymnastique, and the panel of judges for “World Aerobic Competition” in Perth.
